Real Racing 3 is perhaps one of the most popular and widely anticipated games for mobile phones, and if you are impatiently waiting for it, I have good news for you! Its release date has been announced. Real Racing 3 is coming to Android and iOS-based devices on February 28. Moreover, according to Electronics Arts’ vice president Nick Earl, it will be free.
The previous version of the game, Real Racing 2, cost $5, so it was a bit surprising to find out that the new one is free. Most likely, Firemonkeys, the developer of the game, will rely on in-app purchases, though we don’t know how exactly they’ll realize this feature. Most likely, players will be able to purchase cool cars and new tracks with real money.
“The monetization had to be unaggressive as opposed to overly harsh and tight,” Nick Earl said. “For those spending hours at the game, they will opt to spend a little money on the game. We think that’s a fair exchange.”
Real Racing 3 will offer players cool racing experience with more than 600 hours of gameplay and about 900 events.
I am not a big fan of racing games, but I’m definitely going to try this one. What about you?
